Optical Fusing

Fri May 12 2023- 10:00 am - 4:30 pm

£160.00

Course Outline

Discover the potential of heat, volume and displacement to create amazing optical effects with fused glass. You will use Bullseye glass and stringers to create intricate patterns, which when fused will compress and stretch to create beautiful optical lens-like effects.

Learn how to assemble your glass materials, explore pattern and decide on firing schedules, to achieve unique fused pieces such as tiles or bowls.

A fascinating way to expand your fusing repertoire.
