On this introductory weekend of glassblowing you will learn how to gather, form and blow hot molten glass straight from the furnace. With your own choice of colour, you will proceed to blow a glass sphere, a paperweight, and a vase.  The first day is fast-paced as we focus on hands-on techniques, and getting a feel for this fascinating material.

On the second day we continue to gain expertise in blowing techniques as we explore some further shapes and skills in the bench, making objects such as a tumbler, a bowl or plate.  As well as the form you will also choose colours and patterns for your creations.
