Nina Casson McGarva will guide you through the process of creating 3d sculptures by hot manipulation, using traditional fusing techniques as a base. The emphasis will be on experimentation, and is suitable for intermediate and advanced students, who can embrace failure as being part of the learning curve in testing the limits of glass fusing.

Nina Casson McGarva studied glass at the Ecole Nationale du Verre in France, and also The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Bornholm, Denmark. She has exhibited at Pilchuck Glass School as part of her 2015 Emerging Artists in Residency, as well as the 2018 Milano Vetro Expo, and the 4ème Biennale du verre de Colombes, France. She has assisted Sally Fawkes, Baldwin & Guggisberg, Marc Petrovic and David Kaplan.
