Create textile-like patterns on glass using screen-printing and kiln forming techniques with artist Anthony Amoaka-Attah. Brainstorm collective patterns in relation to cultural traditions and learn how to design your own textile pattern.

Masterclass: Ombre Pâte de Verre Vessels – Joshua Kerley

Create beautifully textured glass vessels with the ‘pâte de verre’ or 'paste of glass' technique. Using a range of grades of frit, you will experiment with colour mixing and blending to produce a palette of unique hues and tones. A speculative and playful approach to colour application and mixing will very much be encouraged.

One Day Further Glassblowing

An excellent follow-on day for those who have already taken part in a beginners’ glassblowing course, providing an opportunity to consolidate skills learned in the previous session.

Masterclass: Hot Sculpting Form and Texture – Theo Brooks

An exciting opportunity to study hot glass sculpture with Theo Brooks; from the basics of solid sculpting using a torch to creating larger, intricate, and composite sculptures. You will work with both blown and solid forms and cover surface qualities and texturing.

3-Day Glass Kilnworking

Get creative with glass and explore a range of techniques for manipulating glass in the kiln. You'll experiment with glass fusing, reactive fusing, iridescent fusing and deep fusing. We will also look at relief casting, slumping, drop-out moulds, pot melts and open-faced moulds - creating form and texture in cast glass.
