One Day Further Glassblowing

The ideal follow-on course to our one-day or half-day classes. You will learn the fundamental skills of hot glass sculpture to shape a flower and a bird - getting the feel of how to master this magical material, followed by a blown piece like perhaps a tumbler. In the afternoon expand your skills to create a bowl, or plate.

One Day Glassblowing

Our one day glassblowing course is both an exciting experience day and a great introduction to glassblowing for beginners. Learn the fundamentals of this ancient craft while you make your own glass objects, using hot, molten glass straight from the furnace.

Glassblowing Weekend

Gather, blow and shape hot molten glass straight from the furnace to create your own glass pieces. A wonderful two-day introduction to glassmaking, with plenty of hands-on practice in small groups of up to four students per tutor. Come away with first hand experience of this ancient craft.

3-Day Stained Glass

Learn to design, cut, paint, lead and solder a stained glass panel using traditional skills, tools and materials. This course is an excellent all-round introduction to stained glass processes and includes painting with vitreous glass paint.

Glass Kiln Casting

A superb introduction to 3D glass forming techniques using moulds to create unique and personal kiln cast glass pieces. You will work with a variety of materials to make models ready for casting using the 'open cast' and 'lost wax' methods.

Paint, Stain, Enamel – Glass Painting Weekend

Explore traditional applications of paint, stain and enamel on glass. Techniques including linework, shading and sgraffito using vitreous glass paint, followed by explorations of silver stain and enamel to introduce colour and layering.

Masterclass: Hot Sculpting Form and Texture – Theo Brooks

An exciting opportunity to study hot glass sculpture with Theo Brooks; from the basics of solid sculpting using a torch to creating larger, intricate, and composite sculptures. You will work with both blown and solid forms and cover surface qualities and texturing.

Mastering Layers in Cast Class – Brenda Page

Explore the creative possibilities that emerge when glass becomes a three-dimensional canvas. Push beyond surface decoration and venture into the realm of layered glass construction, where image, depth, and light converge to create sculptural works of remarkable visual complexity.

Masterclass: Pattern-making with Powders – Anthony Amoaka Attah

Create textile-like patterns on glass using screen-printing and kiln forming techniques on this inspirational 4-day course with artist Anthony Amoaka-Attah. Brainstorm collective patterns in relation to cultural traditions and learn how to design your own textile pattern.
