Course Outline
Learn to design, cut, lead and solder your very own leaded glass panel. Using traditional stained glass skills, tools and materials. This course is an excellent beginners introduction to Stained Glass!
If you have attended our Traditional Glass Painting course, you are welcome to bring along your fired pieces and incorporate them into your leaded panel.
Please note: due to the use of lead this course is not suitable for those who are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Profile - Kerry Collison
Kerry trained in stained glass at Swansea College of Art and has worked on commercial glazing projects as part of the Cathedral Studios, Canterbury and the Architectural Glass Centre, Swansea.
Kerry’s personal work illustrates mischief and anarchy into controlled glass material; focusing on using traditional skills to produce fun and contemporary artworks. She is intent on bringing the comic book back to its original format: the stained glass window. Her pieces have been shown in numerous exhibitions, including the 6th John Ruskin Prize. Kerry was featured on Sky Arts: Bill Bailey’s Master Crafters in 2023.
