Glass Painting Weekend
Course Outline
Discover the traditional skill of painting on glass using vitreous glass paints and specialised brushes. You will paint a number of samples and a finished piece to practise a variety of lining, shading and sgraffito techniques. The pieces will be fired overnight.
On day two broaden your knowledge of traditional glass painting processes. Explore using silver stain and low firing enamels with different mediums, introducing colour and layering to your work. Create a number of samples and experimental pieces which will be fired overnight.
Please note: due to the paint pigment containing lead this course is not suitable for those who are pregnant or breastfeeding.
