Glass Kiln Casting

A superb introduction to 3D glass forming techniques using moulds to create unique and personal kiln cast glass pieces. You will work with a variety of materials to make models ready for casting using the 'open cast' and 'lost wax' methods.

Masterclass: Advanced Pattern Making in Glass – Ian Chadwick

Explore advanced pattern forming in fused glass over five days with glass artist Ian Chadwick. Working from Bullseye glass stringer sheets, you will expand your knowledge and experience of both kiln-forming and cold-working techniques to produce intricate, geometric, mandala-like patterns.

Masterclass: Glass from Nature – Andrea Spencer

Take inspiration from nature on this three-day flameworking workshop. Using heat and gravity to manipulate glass in the flame you will learn methods and techniques to bend, stretch, sculpt and carve molten glass, creating sculptural objects, inspired by natural forms.

Glassblowing Weekend

Join our Glassblowing Weekend course - a wonderful introduction to glassmaking with plenty of hands-on practice. Over two days learn how to gather, blow and shape hot molten glass straight from the furnace.

Masterclass: Fusing doesn’t have to be flat – Nina Casson-McGarva

Create 3D sculptures using hot glass manipulation with traditional fusing techniques as a base. The emphasis will be on experimentation and is suitable for intermediate to advanced students who can embrace failure as being part of the learning curve in testing the limits of glass fusing.
