The Glass Hub Summer School

Discover the craft of glassmaking on our unique five-day glass summer school in rural Wiltshire. You will explore a whole range of glassmaking techniques including glass blowing, kiln forming, fusing, slumping, casting as well as flameworking with a torch. Glass Kiln Casting

A superb introduction to 3D glass forming techniques using moulds to create unique and personal kiln cast glass pieces. You will work with a variety of materials to make models ready for casting using the 'open cast' and 'lost wax' methods.

3-Day Kilnworking

Get creative with glass and explore a range of techniques for manipulating glass in the kiln. You'll experiment with glass fusing, reactive fusing, iridescent fusing and deep fusing. We will also look at relief casting, slumping, drop-out moulds, pot melts and open-faced moulds - creating form and texture in cast glass.

Glass Foundation Course (8 weeks)

Our 8-week glass foundation course is a great way to explore a wide variety of techniques and processes involved in creating with glass. Each Wednesday you will explore hot glassblowing and kiln-forming techniques together with some lampworking, sandblasting and more.
