Working with Pattern Bar

Fri 3 December- 10:00 am - 4:30 pm

£150.00

Course Outline

Explore the potential of pattern bar or ‘murrine’ techniques to make highly detailed elements for fusing into larger projects, or for smaller jewellery components. Striking patterns and effects can be achieved with this deceptively simple technique. We will work on stacking and combining Bullseye glass for fusing into ‘bars’ before cutting and composing into larger projects. We will also look at the use of pattern bar and fire polishing for creating cabochons.
