Immerse yourself in a world of hot glass with this weekly class exploring a range of glassblowing techniques. Each Wednesday over five sessions you can enjoy a true hands-on glassmaking experience, as we guide you through the processes of creating a variety of glass objects. You will make your glass pieces completely solo, but with our guidance and the focus will be on learning the technique and less on the finished objects.

You will learn the fundamentals of gathering, forming, blowing, mould-blowing as well as colour techniques. Over the course you will also learn about the science of glass, the history of glass and the art of glass, with occasional demos and films shown before class and during lunch. A real must have, for those who feel an addiction to glass, and an ideal follow on to a one-day beginners’ course.
